l'Arc

l’Arc Perfume house is inspired by the major architectural element of the arch – a structure that spans the opening between two points. This unique perfume house is deeply rooted in its love for art and travel; the fragrances capture the olfactive journey of crossing over to another shore, whether physical or spiritual.

The journey of l’Arc perfumes starts with the discovery of an ancient travel book dating back to the late eighteenth century. The author of these rich writings remains anonymous, but we know that he was a French Master architect and Perfumer in search of knowledge, science, culture and art – his book is a testimony to an era of enlightenment.

Established in Grasse, l’Arc pays tribute to the legacy of French Perfumery and the anonymous adventurer whose first travel log begins at the gateway of the Mediterranean. The stories of this master Architect and Perfumer inspire the l’Arc perfume collection; each Odyssey of perfumes bridge the gap between different countries around the world and the more elusive emotional connections from these travels. Each l’Arc perfume is created using the best available and sustainably sourced organic ingredients.

THE VOYAGE ODYSSEY - A collection of six fragrances (Aventure Jasmin de Karnak, Balade Tiaré de Tahiti, Escapade Vanille des Iles, Evasion Digo de Havane, Mémoire Carnet de Voyage and Traversée Cédre d'Ifrane) dedicated to the countries explored by the Master Architect Perfumer – each revealing a physical and carnal relation to a specific place. They are a declaration of love to the world, an ode to multiculturalism.

THE MEMOIRE ODYSSEY - A collection of four fragrances (Argentium Halo de Lune, Boreale, Chrysalide and Fenix) that conjure up the sensations and emotional connections associated with all the epic travels. These fragrances are more intangible and elusive, they magnify the inner journeys and sensory experiences that connect the past to the present – they are timeless and universal.
