The author of these rich writings remains anonymous, but we know that he was a French Master architect and Perfumer in search of knowledge, science, culture and art – his book is a testimony to an era of enlightenment.

Established in Grasse, l’Arc pays tribute to the legacy of French Perfumery and the anonymous adventurer whose first travel log begins at the gateway of the Mediterranean. The stories of this master Architect and Perfumer inspire the l’Arc perfume collection; each Odyssey of perfumes bridge the gap between different countries around the world and the more elusive emotional connections from these travels.
