Patchouli is one of the most important ingredients to a perfumer. Grown across Asia, this unique essential oil is obtained by a process of distilling the patchouli leaves; The result is enigmatic of dark chocolate. This dark chocolate facet is what popularised the patchouli as an ingredient. As the fragrance matures it becomes woody, leafy and green. Essence de Patchouli opens with warm and delicate notes of rose and geranium above a crisp and refreshing heart of Iris. The rich base notes of cedarwood, guaiac wood and labdanum absolute, rounds off this sophisticated oriental blend rendering it warm and dry with a touch of softness. This 8ml is perfectly sized for easy packing and travel.
