Introduced in 1905, this was the very first fragrance by Maison Detaille and reflects a timeless expression of grace and romanticism. This fragrance is truly inspirational; it is a chypre floral which tenderly blends the perfumer's favourite iconic flowers of the Haute Parfumerie Francaise with hearty woods and green accents. 

Notes from the Playground

1905 by Detaille immediately immerses us in a pure spring freshness with crunchy green head notes of blackcurrant buds, galbanum and violet. Heart notes of iris, rose, jasmine and orange blossom replicate the intensity of a floral bouquet. A rich and powerful woody chypre trail is created as the creaminess of the sandalwood subtly suffuses with the other base notes, vetiver and oak moss.
