Description

Jacques Fath liked to wear a trench coat made from dense, water resistant Loden cloth, usually in the traditional earthy green colour. This was a classic look in his day. Fath also used this warm, strong and very dense fabric to create dresses in his inimitable, glamorous style. Now, Loden cloth is the inspiration for a contemporary floral yet musky fragrance. Innovative Perfumer, Luca Maffei has created a composition that showcases the intensity of radiant vetiver.

Notes from the Playground

Le Loden by Jacques Fath opens with a sparkling cocktail of green mandarin, pink pepper and vibrant fresh ginger. Then, the star of the show, vetiver from Haiti, emerges. These prickly head notes dance with spicy, dark juniper berries, beating to the smoky rhythm of java vetiver and tobacco. These blend softly with the sweetness of raspberry leaf absolute and then succumb to the deep embrace of patchouli.
