Description
Red Shoes takes its name from the 1948 ballet movie 'All she wants to do is dance', a film for which Jacques Fath designed the costumes of prima ballerina, Moira Schearer. Two years later, Fath designed a sumptuous red, silky dress with the same name, worn by model Bettina and photographed for Vogue USA. It was this stunning dress which inspired master perfumer Cécile Zarokian to create this purely feminine, sensual fragrance...'A fragrance matching with the image of this evening dress, elegant, opulent, so chic'.
Notes from the Playground
Red Shoes is a jewellery box bursting with treasure. Sparkling aldehydes notes create an uplifting opening, softly diffused into rich blackcurrant and red berries adding warmth to this fresh sensation. Radiant blue ginger and pink pepper are a tribute and a warm hearted reminder of the glittering, metallic colours in Fath’s silk and satin dress. Flamboyant Damask rose absolute provides a voluptuous quality, highlighting the opulence of lavish patchouli, all gently held safely in a cradle of soft musk which lingers.
