This time, it is transformed into a 5* boutique hotel where the likes of Natalie Portman, Naomi Campbell and Karl Lagerfeld returned to see how their playpen had changed. Having said this, the nightclub and spa were revived along the way. Once again everything goes in the Maison Guerbois under the deeply burnished domes and cupolas, in a subtle spiral of cardamom and ginger, patchouli and cedarwood, incense and amber.
