Act IV: Dreams - Scene Four: White Whale – one of the last two fragrances created to complete the Opera Collection by Masque Milano. Act IV, the act of dreams…the one that makes any fantasy come true! “Concluding this Opera Collection has been for us a dream and a goal that we chased during the past 10 years. For this reason, our last fragrance was inspired by the most obsessive quest in literature: captain Ahab’s chase of the mythical white sperm whale, Moby Dick.”

Notes from the playground:

The focus of White Whale started with amber gris, all the other ingredients unfolding naturally in the journey of creation. Cedarwood, patchouli, vetiver and labdanum symbolize the rough wood of the Pequod Ship whilst the black pepper gives a cold, fresh scent, representing the vast ocean, complimented by salty rope accords. Violet and osmanthus shine through like a candle bringing light to the dark, rugged life at sea.
